  I dealt with Luke Sr. and Luke Jr. Over the phone, email, and in person. They were kind and professional. They did not try to sell extra services. When I told them I just wanted the direct cremation package that is exactly what they gave me. And for $995 not $5000+ like most funeral parlors wanted. They did not try to sell me extras other than proving a list of available services. I feel like I dealt with totally different people than BTM did.

  After losing my husband at such a young age, these people were less than polite as my mother-in-law and I went there crying to pay for the cremation. They rushed us to pay for the ashes because they said they were closing. The young man with dark hair was actually the rude one. We just found out that after 3 months, they possessed my husband's wedding ring. I called and asked what the policy was on jewelry. The man on the phone said all jewelry is removed before the cremation and given to the family when they retrieve the ashes. We never got the ring back. When we called a month after the cremation, we were told it was cremated with my husband. Then we dug some more and called last week and found out that they still had it! They never contacted us. I called to voice my extreme displeasure and that same young man answered the phone. All he said was "sorry". The apology was meaningless because it was not sincere. They could have easily sold my husband's ring and continue lying to us because they originally said the ring was cremated. In short, they may have tried to keep the ring, maybe not. All I now is that I do not trust this place, and they have caused a little more anguish than necessary. All they had to do was be honest and give the ring back. Go to a place that you trust.
